What is the Difference Between Botox and Dermal Fillers?

Botox and dermal fillers are both injectable anti-ageing treatments but the products work in very different ways and treat different types of lines, wrinkles and folds.

Botox is a muscle relaxant that temporarily stops the fine lines and wrinkles which appear when the face is moving. It is injected into specific muscle groups to stop the muscles from contracting and, whilst the muscles are not able to contract, the associated lines and wrinkles are not able to form.
