Juvéderm Voluma injections, also known as dermal fillers, help restore youthful volume to the cheek, cheekbone and chin areas. Juvéderm can effectively fill lines and wrinkles, such as those found near the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds). Juvéderm also helps to enhance the natural shape and definition of the lips and jawline and it can restore fullness to cheeks, temples and under the eyes.

The results are instantaneous, very natural looking and have been shown to last up to 18 months. In addition, Juvéderm is sometimes used to rejuvenate other areas of the body such as the hands and décolletage.

About Juvéderm

Juvéderm is a semi-permanent, hyaluronic acid facial filler. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that can be found between your skin cells, it acts to bind moisture and provide fullness to the look of your skin.

Juvéderm is a gel formulation and contains microsphere particles that are injected directly into your skin and soft tissue. Juvéderm Voluma was developed to be smoother than other hyaluronic acid volumisers, making it easier to inject and resulting in a smooth, even, natural look and feel. The gel fills wrinkles and lines, which have developed as a result of ageing, smoothing the skin and giving it a youthful appearance.

Juvéderm Voluma has a higher concentration of hyaluronic acid than many other facial filers, which makes it thicker in consistency, providing greater volume to the treated areas.

Our Juvéderm Voluma dermal fillers are also ‘cross-linked’ to make them more difficult for the body to break down and eradicate (cross-linking is a process that chemically binds the individual chains of the acid, so that it is changed into a gel that lasts much longer once injected into the face).

Experienced medical experts

Side effects

The improvement to your facial features will be visible immediately after the dermal filler injections. However, due to swelling, your features may look a little fuller than you might expect. This should quickly improve over the next few days as the swelling subsides.

Swelling, redness and post-injection bruising will usually last no more than 3 to 7 days, and your appearance should improve dramatically within the first two days. You can usually apply make-up over the treated area immediately after treatment, and ice packs can be used to speed up the natural healing process.

Repeat treatments
