What is Sunekos?
Sunekos is an injectable treatment, which combines amino acids (the essential building blocks of collagen and elastin) with hyaluronic acid, to achieve a rejuvenating, volumising effect in the skin.
How does Sunekos treatment work?
Sunekos deeply hydrates the outer and deeper layers of the treated skin. The ingredients in Sunekos work together with the skin’s Extra Cellular Matrix to promote the production of collagen and elastin. This has a plumping and lifting effect, to reduce and prevent the signs of ageing.
What parts of the body can be treated with Sunekos?
Sunekos is extremely versatile and can be used on the face (Sunekos eyes treatment is particularly effective), neck, décolletage, hands, arms, inner thighs, and knees.
How does Sunekos differ from fillers?
Although Sunekos contains hyaluronic acid, which is present in most dermal fillers, Sunekos also contains amino acids, so its action in the skin is different to fillers. Sunekos encourages a natural process within the skin to heal and repair itself, rather than the physical plumping achieved by fillers.
Why choose Sunekos vs Profhilo?
Your practitioner will recommend the most appropriate treatment for you, depending on your skin type and the results you want to achieve. Profhilo also contains hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate and lift the skin, however, depending on your requirements, the additional amino acids present in Sunekos may provide the most beneficial option.
Is Sunekos a skin booster?

How long will the treatment take?
Depending on the area that is being treated, each treatment usually takes around 15 minutes. Including your consultation, the full appointment will take around 30 minutes.
How many treatments are recommended?
Every patient is different, so what we recommend will depend on the results you’re looking for and your practitioner’s assessment of your skin. Generally, patients initially require two or three treatments over a three to four week period.
How quickly will my skin improve?
You will start to see results of Sunekos treatment approximately seven to ten days after the first session.
How long do results last?
Depending on the patient and their skin type and condition, results can last for up to six months.
After treatment, how quickly can I return to daily activities?
Sunekos treatment requires no downtime, so patients can immediately continue as normal. Your practitioner will ensure you are aware of any aftercare requirements.
