What happens during a skin consultation?
Firstly, your practitioner will discuss your medical history and how you would like to improve the condition of your skin.
Your practitioner will then analyse and assess your skin.
Based upon this analysis, and your desired outcomes, your practitioner will recommend a course of treatment to improve the health and appearance of your skin.
What treatments will be recommended?
Every patient is different, so what we recommend will depend on the results you’re looking for and your practitioner’s assessment of your skin. Each patient is recommended a bespoke skincare regime for their personal needs. This might include prescription skincare products, chemical peels, homecare plans and anti-ageing treatments.
There is no obligation to go ahead with any of the recommended treatments. If you do wish to go ahead, treatments can usually be carried out in the same appointment and skincare products purchased at the clinic.
How long will the appointment take?
The skin consultation will take approximately 20 minutes. If you choose to go ahead with any treatments straight away, then the appointment will take longer.
How quickly will your skin improve?
Skincare is a long-term investment, so we don’t promise overnight results. However, it is one of the best investments you’ll ever make.
What if skincare products haven’t worked the past?
The world of skincare products is a huge and confusing one (and expensive!). There are so many treatments and products out there – choosing the right combination for your skin can be very difficult without professional advice.
Our expert analysis of your skin will help us identify the best combination of products to suit your needs. This may include medical-grade products provided on prescription, which can achieve far better results than shop-bought treatments.
