Polynucleotides London

Polynucleotides skin rejuvenation is part of our range of hydrating skin boosters, which have a prolonged rejuvenating effect on your skin. This injectable treatment is available at our Harley Street, London clinic.

This advanced treatment delivers molecules called nucleotides directly into the skin. Polynucleotides are chains of these molecules that form the structure of DNA.

Polynucleotides stimulate dermal cells called fibroblasts to produce new collagen fibres. This promotes the skin’s natural ability to regenerate and to repair damaged tissue.

The treatment has a deeply hydrating effect to give overall rejuvenation and restore plump, youthful skin.

FAQs

What is polynucleotides skin rejuvenation?

Polynucleotides are chains of molecules called nucleotides that form the structure of DNA.

When delivered into the skin via an injectable skin booster solution, polynucleotides stimulate dermal cells within the subcutaneous connective tissue, called fibroblasts, to produce collagen fibres and encourage cell turnover.

This activity promotes the skin’s natural ability to repair damaged tissue, achieving overall rejuvenation to the skin.

What are the benefits of polynucleotides treatment?

Polynucleotides skin rejuvenation in London is a highly versatile treatment that can be used for the signs of ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles and skin laxity, as well as acne scarring, and general skin rejuvenation.

Polynucleotides are deeply hydrating, so they improve the overall texture of your skin. By stimulating new collagen fibres to form, polynucleotides treatment improves skin elasticity and firmness.

Polynucleotides also have anti-inflammatory properties that aid skin healing.

What parts of the body can be treated with polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides treatment in London isn’t only for the face, it is suitable for areas such as the neck, décolletage, arms, abdomen, and hand.

Polynucleotides under eyes treatment is highly effective for plumping, hydrating and smoothing this delicate area that often shows the signs of ageing.

Why choose polynucleotides v Profhilo?

Both polynucleotides and Profhilo are hydrating skin boosters that improve the texture and vitality of the skin.

However, depending on your skincare requirements, our expert practitioners in Harley Street may recommend the regenerative benefits of polynucleotides that evolve over several weeks to achieve your desired results.

How long does polynucleotides treatment take?

Depending on the area that is being treated, your treatment should take around 15 minutes.

Including your consultation, the full appointment will take around 30 minutes.

How many polynucleotides treatments are recommended?

We usually recommend two or three treatments, two weeks apart.

Your practitioner will be able to advise you about the recommended approach following a skin assessment at your initial consultation at our London Harley Street clinic.

How quickly does polynucleotides treatment work?

You will start to see the benefits of polynucleotides skin rejuvenation seven to ten days following your treatment.

How long do results last?

Results of polynucleotides skin rejuvenation in London can last for up to 12 months.

Is there any downtime?

Slight swelling or bruising may occur, which should resolve within a few days. Your practitioner will ensure you are aware of any aftercare requirements.

Can I have polynucleotides in combination with other treatments?

Yes, polynucleotides skin rejuvenation is an ideal partner for other aesthetic treatments.

Our London practitioners often recommend skin boosters to prepare the skin for certain treatments, such as peels and dermal fillers, because they can help to prolong their effects.

Do polynucleotides injections hurt?

What are the side effects of polynucleotides treatment?
