Good Housekeeping gives Profhilo a thumbs up

In October’s edition of Good Housekeeping their Beauty Director, Eve Cameron, tries out Profhilo and tells readers about her experience and why she’s already booked herself in for a six month top up!

What is Profhilo?

Profhilo is a highly purified form of hyaluronic acid which is injected into the skin. It gives an initial boost of hydration and, after the second treatment, triggers the production of collagen.

The result is skin which is hydrated, tightened and lifted – and has a rejuvenated glow.

Eve Cameron’s verdict

Eve starts the article by sharing her scepticism that Profhilo might be “too good to be true”. She decides to try it out after meeting a make-up artist with a “wonderfully glowing, youthful complexion” who put it down to using Profhilo.

Taking the plunge, Eve decides to have Profhilo treatment for her face and neck. After her first treatment Eve starts to see a difference, noting that she looks “pleasantly plumped up”.

But it’s a couple of weeks after her second session that Eve really reaps the rewards of Profhilo:

My skin suddenly has a noticeable ‘lit-from-within’ glow, feels softer and springier to the touch, and I seem to need less moisturiser. Fine lines, including those around my eyes and horizontal lines on my neck, are less obvious, and the crepiness that had been creeping in by the sides of my mouth and on my neck has all but vanished.
