What is nose filler treatment like?

Before your treatment

You’ll begin with a consultation to discuss your goals and assess your nose’s shape and structure. Your practitioner will talk you through the options and ensure that this treatment is the right approach for your desired result.

During your treatment

The area may be numbed with a topical anaesthetic to minimise discomfort. Dermal filler is then precisely injected using a needle or cannula to reshape the nose, often to smooth bumps, lift the nasal tip, or improve symmetry. The treatment typically takes 20 to 30 minutes.

After your treatment

Some swelling or tenderness is normal, especially around the injection sites, but this usually fades within a few days. The results are visible straight away, with the final outcome becoming clearer as any swelling subsides.

Nose fillers – your questions answered

What is the science behind nose filler?

Nose filler is a precise, non-surgical treatment that uses hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler to subtly reshape and refine the nose. The filler is carefully injected to smooth out bumps, correct asymmetry, or lift the nasal tip. It works by adding volume beneath the skin, creating a more balanced appearance.

Hyaluronic acid attracts water, which helps to hydrate the area and maintain volume. It also stimulates collagen production over time, supporting skin structure and elasticity. While the results are not permanent, they typically last between 9 and 18 months, depending on the individual and the product used.

Clinical studies support both the safety and effectiveness of nose filler, with research showing high patient satisfaction and visible aesthetic improvement.

What are nose fillers?

“Nose fillers” doesn’t refer to a particular type of filler, rather the area it’s used on. Your nose reshaping treatment will be done using Juvéderm filler. This is a hyaluronic acid filler which we also use for other facial filler treatments, such as cheek lifts.

What type of filler is used?

These treatments use hyaluronic acid dermal fillers; a naturally occurring substance which helps your skin to retain moisture.

What happens during treatment?

Small injections of dermal filler are administered to the target areas.

Will the nose filler treatment hurt?

No, all our dermal filler injections include a local anaesthetic to minimise discomfort.

How long does nose filler treatment take?

If you are just having jawline filler, your appointment will last for up to 45 minutes. The treatment itself will take around 20 to 30 minutes. If you are also having filler injections in other areas, or additional treatments, your appointment will take longer.

How long does nose filler last?

The benefits of your treatment should last for up to a year.

The longevity varies from person to person. The more years you’ve been receiving treatment, the longer it should last.

What other treatments can you have with nose fillers?

We can use nose fillers in conjunction with other treatments, such as cheek fillers, botox and Profhilo, to give you an overall rejuvenated and refreshed appearance.

Before any treatment you will receive a free consultation with one of our expert practitioners. You will have the opportunity to discuss the results you desire and receive advice on the best combination of treatments.
