Jalupro skin boosters
Jalupro is an injectable treatment with a unique ‘bio revitalising’ action. It is particularly effective in areas of the skin where there are deeper wrinkles or that are marked, through acne scarring for example. Jalupro stimulates the skin’s natural ability to regenerate, resulting in deeply hydrated, plumped and smoothed skin.
The cells of the subcutaneous connective tissue in our skin are called fibroblasts. These cells produce collagen and are responsible for skin tone and elasticity. The natural ageing process and factors like sun exposure reduce this process, causing loss of skin volume.
Fibroblasts create collagen with the support of amino acids. Jalupro combines hyaluronic acid with these essential amino acids to feed the fibroblasts, and help them restore skin vitality.

What is Jalupro?
Jalupro is an injectable skin booster, which combines amino acids (the essential building blocks of collagen) with hyaluronic acid, to achieve a rejuvenating, volumising effect in the skin.
Are there several Jalupro treatment options?
We use three Jalupro products – Classic, HMW and Superhydro. Your practitioner will carefully assess your skin and recommend the best treatment approach, according to your desired results.
How does Jalupro treatment work?
The ingredients in Jalupro stimulate the skin’s fibroblasts to encourage the production of collagen. This has a plumping and volumising effect, to reduce the signs of ageing, scarring and sun damage.
At the Jalupro injection points, there is a prolonged effect in the skin where the process of repair continues after treatment.
What parts of the body can be treated with Jalupro?
Jalupro is a versatile treatment that can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, underarms, hands, inner thighs, abdomen, and knees.
Jalupro under eyes treatment is particularly effective at reducing dark circles and palpebral bags.
How does Jalupro differ from fillers?
Although Jalupro contains hyaluronic acid, which is present in most dermal fillers, Jalupro also contains amino acids, so its action in the skin is different to fillers.
Jalupro encourages a natural process of ‘bio revitalisation’ within the skin through collagen production, rather than the physical plumping achieved by fillers.
Why choose Jalupro v Profhilo?
Both Jalupro and Profhilo are skin boosters containing hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate and revitalise the skin. However, depending on your requirements, the additional amino acids present in Jalupro may provide the most beneficial option.
Your practitioner will recommend the most appropriate treatment for you, depending on your skin type and the results you want to achieve.
How long will the treatment take?
Depending on the area that is being treated, each treatment usually takes around 15 minutes. Including your consultation, the full appointment will take around 30 minutes.
How many treatments are recommended?
Every patient is different, so what we recommend will depend on the results you’re looking for and your practitioner’s assessment of your skin. Generally, patients initially require two or three treatments over a three to four week period.
How quickly will my skin improve?
You will start to see results of Jalupro treatment approximately seven to ten days after the first session.
How long do results last?
Depending on the patient and their skin type and condition, results can last for up to six months.
After treatment, how quickly can I return to daily activities?
Jalupro treatment requires no downtime, so patients can immediately continue as normal. Your practitioner will ensure you are aware of any aftercare requirements.
Can I have Jalupro in combination with other treatments?
Yes, Jalupro is an ideal partner for other aesthetic treatments.
Jalupro is often recommended to prepare the skin for certain treatments, such as peels and dermal fillers, because it can help to prolong their effects.
Your practitioner will recommend the best approach for your desired outcome.
Can Jalupro go wrong?
There have been several clinical trials and publications to demonstrate that Jalupro is both safe and effective. Find out more.
