Most patients notice a difference after just one treatment. The benefits are often seen within the first two weeks. However, because the treatment stimulates skin regeneration, this continues for several months.
As an example, treatment of the face and neck takes 30-45 minutes and sessions are usually spaced 4 to 5 weeks apart, depending on your specific skin type and needs.
Depending on your skin and the results you want to achieve, we recommend a treatment course of 3 or 6 sessions at our Dermapen London clinic.
A topical anaesthetic cream is applied 30 minutes before treatment to ensure comfort.
There may be slight redness on the skin for 24 to 48 hours following treatment. Mild bruising can occur for up to 3 days.
Your practitioner will give you full aftercare information. We advise patients to avoid direct sunlight for 7 days.
