Sunekos
Sunekos is an injectable treatment that stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin in the skin. The result is deeply hydrated, plumped skin and restored youthful volume.
Sunekos uses a patented formula, which combines amino acids with hyaluronic acid. These ingredients work together to regenerate the Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM) of the skin, by stimulating natural production of collagen and elastin.

Reviews for our Sunekos treatment
What is Sunekos treatment like?

Before your treatment
Your practitioner will begin with a consultation to assess your skin and discuss the areas you’d like to target. Sunekos is suitable for delicate areas like under the eyes, neck, and décolletage, as well as the face.
During your treatment
A series of small injections are made just under the skin using a fine needle. These contain a patented blend of hyaluronic acid and amino acids, designed to stimulate collagen and elastin production. The procedure usually takes 30 minutes.
After your treatment
You may notice small bumps at the injection sites immediately after treatment—these usually settle within a few hours. Mild swelling or bruising is also possible but tends to resolve quickly. The skin gradually becomes smoother, firmer, and more hydrated over the following days and weeks as natural regeneration occurs.

Sunekos – your questions answered
What is Sunekos?
Sunekos is an injectable treatment, which combines amino acids (the essential building blocks of collagen and elastin) with hyaluronic acid, to achieve a rejuvenating, volumising effect in the skin.
How does Sunekos treatment work?
Skin boosters are made up of hyaluronic acid injections that deeply hydrate and revitalise the skin. They can be used to treat the lower face, neck, décolletage and hands, restoring moisture and improving overall skin texture.
What is the science behind Sunekos Skinboosters?
Sunekos deeply hydrates the outer and deeper layers of the treated skin. The ingredients in Sunekos work together with the skin’s Extra Cellular Matrix to promote the production of collagen and elastin. This has a plumping and lifting effect, to reduce and prevent the signs of ageing.

What parts of the body can be treated with Sunekos?
Sunekos is extremely versatile and can be used on the face (Sunekos eyes treatment is particularly effective), neck, décolletage, hands, arms, inner thighs, and knees.
How does Sunekos differ from fillers?
Although Sunekos contains hyaluronic acid, which is present in most dermal fillers, Sunekos also contains amino acids, so its action in the skin is different to fillers. Sunekos encourages a natural process within the skin to heal and repair itself, rather than the physical plumping achieved by fillers.
Why choose Sunekos vs Profhilo?
Your practitioner will recommend the most appropriate treatment for you, depending on your skin type and the results you want to achieve. Profhilo also contains hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate and lift the skin, however, depending on your requirements, the additional amino acids present in Sunekos may provide the most beneficial option.
Is Sunekos a skin booster?
Like Sunekos, skin boosters contain hyaluronic acid. The formulation of hyaluronic acid in Skin boosters can nourish and hydrate the skin to improve skin texture, whereas Sunekos works on a deeper, cellular level to encourage natural regeneration.
How long will the treatment take?
Depending on the area that is being treated, each treatment usually takes around 15 minutes. Including your consultation, the full appointment will take around 30 minutes.
How many treatments are recommended?
Every patient is different, so what we recommend will depend on the results you’re looking for and your practitioner’s assessment of your skin. Generally, patients initially require two or three treatments over a three to four week period.
How quickly will my skin improve?
You will start to see results of Sunekos treatment approximately seven to ten days after the first session.
How long do results last?
Depending on the patient and their skin type and condition, results can last for up to six months.
Can I have sunekos in combination with other treatments?
Yes, Sunekos is an ideal partner for other treatments such as botox and fillers. Your practitioner will recommend the best approach for your desired outcome.
After treatment, how quickly can I return to daily activities?
Sunekos treatment requires no downtime, so patients can immediately continue as normal. Your practitioner will ensure you are aware of any aftercare requirements.
Are there examples of where Sunekos has gone wrong?
A study published in the Journal of Clinical Trials in July 2017 demonstrates that Sunekos is both safe and effective. Read the study.
