Dermal fillers
Dermal fillers plump and hydrate your skin. They replenish lost volume and smooth deep wrinkles to rejuvenate your appearance.
Fillers can also enhance your natural features. For example, by adding definition to your lips, reducing the appearance of scars or recontouring your nose.

Reviews for our Dermal fillers treatment
What is dermal filler treatment like?

Before your treatment
You’ll have a consultation with your practitioner to discuss your concerns, medical history, and desired results, ensuring the treatment is safe and suitable for you.
During your treatment
The area will be cleansed and, if needed, a numbing cream applied. Dermal filler is then carefully injected using a fine needle or cannula, with the practitioner shaping it to achieve a natural-looking result.
After your treatment
You may experience mild swelling or bruising, which typically subsides within a few days. Most results are visible immediately, with full effects seen as any swelling settles.

Dermal fillers – your questions answered
What is the science behind dermal filler?
Dermal fillers are injectable gels, most commonly made from hyaluronic acid – a substance naturally found in the skin that helps maintain hydration and volume. When injected beneath the skin, fillers can restore lost volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours by physically lifting the skin and encouraging collagen production.

What are dermal fillers made of?
The majority of dermal fillers we use are made of hyaluronic acid. This is a naturally occurring substance which helps your skin to retain water. It also supports the structure of collagen and elastin fibres.
The exception to this is our Sculptra filler treatment which is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) filler. Rather than adding instant volume, Scupltra works gradually to stimulate collagen production and add volume over a number of weeks.
What brand of dermal fillers do you use?
We stock a selection of high quality filler brands and will select the best one to suit your treatment. The brands we use include Juvéderm, Restylane and Sculptra.
What dermal filler treatment do you use?
Our dermal fillers can be used in a wide range of areas:
- Any deep facial wrinkles or folds
- Cheeks, chin and temples
- Jawline
- Lips
- Neck, décolletage and hands
- Nose
- Scars
- Tear troughs
We also offer Profhilo and Skinbooster treatments. Like most of our fillers, these are also made from hyaluronic acid. However, rather than adding volume to a particular area, they instead provide an overall hydrating and rejuvenating effect.
Do dermal fillers hurt?
No, our fillers include a built-in local anaesthetic to minimise discomfort.
How long do dermal fillers last?
How long does the appointment take?
Your appointment, which includes a consultation with one of our expert practitioners, will take at least 45 minutes. Depending on the number of areas to be treated, it could take longer than this.
Is there any swelling after filler appointments?
We do everything we can to minimise swelling or bruising after your treatment, for example by using local anaesthetics and, when appropriate, a cannula to administer the injection.
Any swelling, bruising or redness which does occur, should have calmed down after a couple of days and be completely gone ten days after treatment.
Who can have dermal fillers?
Our practitioners will always take a full medical history to ensure that it is safe for you to have dermal fillers. If you are pregnant or breast feeding you will not be able to have them.
We will also discuss the results you are looking for, to make sure that fillers will give you the benefits you want.
Can I have other treatments alongside dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are frequently used alongside botox for a complete rejuvenating effect. The two treatments complement each other perfectly: botox focuses on active wrinkles and mainly in the upper face, while fillers tackle static wrinkles and are predominantly used on the mid and lower face.
